i’m going to make a basic pair of socks using the leftovers from all those Simple Things shawlettes i made!

3/8/10: first one finished! they’re not pretty, but they are warm and soft, and making them means using up some leftover yarn instead of just having it lying around. i sort of wanted to make them stripey, but doing it just color-block style meant less waste, and more actual inches of sock.

3/14/10: hooray! they’re done! they are kind of funky looking, but super soft and they fit well. i’m glad i found a way to use up my pretty leftover yarns, too.
