Very happy with how this turned out - certainly would consider making another one one day.
Interesting construction and fairly time consuming due to the large surface area - really interesting and quite elegant shape compared to many knitted garments.
I have very narrow shoulders so I feel the neckline doesn’t quite sit right most of the time - but looking at the original pattern pics and other projects the shoulder seams do actually sit down across the arms rather than singlet-style - so mine has probably turned out as it was meant to.
Quite happy with the yarn in the end too - was worried it would look a little too crazy but ended up quite a nice effect and went a long way.

Finished body - very interesting construction. Starting sleeves.

Finished flounce. Less repeats than the pattern to reach the required inches. Almost one full skein used up in flounce.

Up to the 6th repeat of the flounce.

Continuing to have difficulties picking and knitting the wrapped sts each time I return to row 1 of the chart. The one that is on the border between the lace and plain sections doesn’t appear to be able to be picked up and knit without changing the stitch count. Not sure what I’m doing wrong but will continue onwards and hope it’s ok.

Did provisional cast on (great tutorial - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3J-sUx_whE) very unsure of sizing, amount of yarn and guage because haven’t checked carefully, but will knit some as a test and see how it goes.

44 sts gives a good colour

Was considering inventing own patten but ‘Make a Wish’ could be pretty much what I was after.

Gauge of that pattern is 20 stitches and 30 rows = 4 inches in stockinette (5 sts to 1 in)

my guage with this yarn and 4mm is 6 sts to 1 in.
