I am a fairly loose knitter that consistently has to go down at least one needle size to obtain gauge. I was shocked when I had to go up multiple needle sizes to achieve gauge. This pattern calls for a relaxed knit fabric, I really loved the fabric created with size 15s. On 15s I was very close to the pattern gauge, post blocking I was able to get gauge, so I opted to stick with 15s.

This shawl knits up super fast, once in the lace section I could not put it down. One can easily make this shawl in a day or two if you can just sit down and knit away! A great project for a snow day!
