I got stuck on clue 3 in stockinette purgatory —the small needles just really made it seem like it was taking forever so I knit around on other projects. After completing a few test knits, I finally came back to it and the hem on size 1 needles felt like it was taking eons.

I knit one full sleeve and while I enjoyed the colorwork, I wasn’t loving the final product. I decided to make it short sleeves. I think part of the problem was my notes for the split did not match the reality of my knitting. Ultimately, my long break made it more difficult than it had to be. The lesson is, be monogamous knitters, but hey at least I used my stash!
