Used the counts and heart chart from the pattern to create a toddler size. Still rather large for her at 10 months, but should last through next year.

I didn’t feel like knitting the flaps first, so made the body, then picked up the flap stitches on the wrong side to create the nice ridge.

Good pattern, easy construction, and I learned I really suck at making pom poms. :-)
