He asked me to knit more of a turtle neck so back on the needles and just barely done for Christmas. It’s soooo soft.

Done! (well except for weaving in ends and blocking) He is going to love it.

Back to the size 1 needles for the body ribbing. Got a couple inches in and it was not right. Ripped it out and have restarted with 2s

3/12/13 About done with sleeves. Miles has a 6’5” wingspan so they are looong…

Going for it.
starting with sleeves magic loop two at a time. Size 1 cuff, size 3 ground, size 4 colorwork section. Making a size M fro Miles.

Well after a full day and more than a skein of yarn swatching I think it will be single strength on size 3 with 4 for the colorwork and 1 for the ribbing…. The yarn may be too light for this pattern but I really like it for a lighter version for me. Still not sure if it’s the right yarn for Sven.

The yarn I ordered is much lighter than called for in the pattern. I am trying a few experiments with smaller needle and or doubling the yarn or reworking the pattern entirely.. or most probably changing my mind about the yarn.
