The yarn is heaven and only available through my LYS, Blazing Needles. Their own branded 100% cashmere from Italy. It is called Summit in the colorway Alta (named fro our premier ski resort I presume)

I reversed my brim because I preferred how the cast-on edge looked on that side so it shows up as p1 k2.

I only went down one needle size but should have gone down two.

It is really big around…

If I make it again I would go down two needle sized
and add 5 or 6 rows near the beginning. Mine has enough slouch only because the whole thing is so big.

Update. Frogged the beauty and presto chango the hat is now mittens! It kept falling off my head and the yarn is too fabulous not to be in a constant state of wearing.
