In Jan 2023, I knit the Vallo Cowl designed by Alexis Winslow for a friend. I loved the design but was sure I could not bring myself to knit the entire cowl again. This gave rise to an interest to design a hat inspired by the said cowl.

The hat has a folded brim to provide warmth
