Red Bag:
I love this Sundara yarn, so would like to make a little bag with the 31 g I have left. Cast on Oct 18 and finished Oct 31. The knitting actually went pretty quickly and was very mindless, but I was working on several other projects at the same time.

The finished bag measures 3 inches by 8 inches, the same as a bag I knit before for sunglasses, but it actually seems a little small. I hope it’ll stretch and be okay, but I could rip and reknit it a little wider if I have to. (Next day: yup, it needs to be bigger. Sigh. Ripped and will start over later).

Started again 3/1/2014. My gauge on the first try was 5.5 sts per inch with US 5s, and I wanted a bag that measured 4 by 8 now, so CO 44 sts. This was perfect, and I finished the bag in less than two hours. 54 yards.

Green and Blue Bags:
I had two little 1 oz skeins of handspun from class sample fiber, and thought they would make two more nice little sunglasses cases. This yarn is a little thicker, so I swatched with US 6s and got 5 sts/inch.

For each, I CO 40 sts with US 6s & knit in the round for 8 inches before binding off. Each took less than 2 hours to knit. 42 yards for the green, 44 yards for the blue.
