Planning on this project to use up leftover handspun. So it may take a while to be finished.

Knit Dec 2011-Jan 2012:
Pink mitten: Funky Carolina BFL in Autumn Girl, used US 5 needles, knit as per pattern
Light blue mitten: Tactile Fiber Arts Handspun, US 6 needles, modified to have four fewer stitches on each round and a few rows less, as I was using thicker yarn
Brown & purple mitten: Potentiality Two-Ply Handspun in Blueberries and Chocolate, US 5 needles, no mods

Knit Dec 2012-Jan 2013:
Purple: Pigeonroof merino/silk in Blackberry Crumble
Green: Unicorn Lane
Blue & Green: Blue is FLUFF Sapphire Waters and green stripe is from Cloudlover BFL in Fangorn
Brown and Purple: Brown and the lime green is FLUFF Ripe Eggplant and the Purple is Cloudlover merino/silk (navaho-plied singles leftover from a combo spin)
(Pink & Grey: Fluff SW Merino in Argyle and Grey Flannel leftover from two matching baby sweaters, and a few other scraps)
(Grey & Purple: Scrappy mitten, grey from a class spin, purple from TIBH polwarth silk leftover fiber, and a bit of CMF Sock Hop as well)
(3 Gradient Brown, 3 Gradient Grey: FLUFF BFL Sticks and Stones knit in here, but gifted)
a total of 9 finished at this point, since I gave 6 away

I’m out of handspun scraps now, so will put this away until next winter, when I have a new batch of leftovers to work with.

Knit Nov 2013-January 2014:
Two Lavender: Two smittens out of the Bonnie Lass
Blue, Purple, Brown/Orange: A total of three knit out the Crown Mountain Sock Hop that’s really deep stash
Pink: Ferndale Potluck Roving
Green: Vineyard green to black
Two Blues: Blue from silk hanky, variegated blues and aqua handspun singles from a batt
Dark Blue: Alpaca/silk - Knit this one and then ripped back to the cuff to take a few rows out, because the mitten was too long due to the drape of the fiber
Light Green: Old Funky Carolina in Winding Wheel - really, it was a bit too thick for US 5s, but this is nostaligic yarn for me - almost my first handspun - so I’m happy to have it in my Smitten garland
Purple and Orange: Striped two colors of the CMF Sock Hop together

I decided that I didn’t like the scrappy ones (two colors is okay, but three or more is messy), so I frogged the Pink & Grey and Grey & Purple smittens that I knit last year and put the yarn back in my scrap bin. I also knit one from a grey to blue to black gradient, but it was too stripey, so I frogged that too.

Knit Spring-Summer 2014:
Purple/Grey Marl: leftovers from the Blackberry Storm gradient yarn
Greens: leftovers from the Brilliant/Murky
Light blue: Shetland, Cuddlefish - 8 g, 19 yards
Yellow: Shetland, Cuddlefish - 8 g, 19 yards
Purple: Shetland Wine-Dark Sea

Finished total: 24

Two and a half years in the making. So excited to be done! And will probably start another one pretty soon anyway.
