Worked with 2 skeins of a cobweb-weight linen blend from Ice Yarns.

I left out the beads and simplified the front and back lace pattern. I just purled the reverse, which made the lace border much longer. (I was jubilant when I reached the end of the lace pattern; needless to say I missed all the plot lines from every TV show that we “watched” while I was knitting the lace. My husband is still explaining what happened on season two of The Bridge (American version).)

I also left out the wraps, as the PT2 closed the hole from turning. AND I got careless at the very end and forgot to change to garter stitch at the end for a nice finish. I crocheted several rows for a neat edging and added a button.
