For the March Origami project. (knowing quite will this project will not be finished in March….of this year, at least)

My square number of stitches is 35. The needles are my (maternal) grandmother’s vintage Susan Bates in a US 8. This project reminds me of her because I received several pairs of knitted slippers from her….not necessarily knit by her, maybe someone at the church in her Seniors Group, but still from her.

This is the third project using this yarn!

I’m really enjoying the project so far. I like the way it is all going together, including the cushy feel of the knitted fabric.

Update 3/2014: These never got off the ground, despite the warm fuzzies.
