Found this pattern last night (after taking a half hour to look at ravelry for the first time in MONTHS!) & thought it was super cute. The truck overheated, somehow even though it was literally 5 degrees outside, so I was stuck at home for the morning until my dad could stop by on his lunch break & bring me some antifreeze. Funny how I’m seeing a pattern of the truck breaking down & me starting new projects!!!

12/4 - Wanted to do a yellow & grey owl. Used some Maxima for the center, then a little TML maple leaf, some leftover shiny grey, then some regular grey, then to top it all off a bright outer shell of more Maxima! Went so quickly, finished the first side in less than 2 episodes of Futurama. Dad came with the antifreeze so I had to go to the office & wait until later to finish side two. I picked out two giant buttons for the eyes. They were a dumb brown so I painted them a cool shiny, not too sparkly shimmery gunmetal with my favorite shade of nail polish. They look much better painted.
