I don’t need another blanket right now. But I do know lots of Harry Potter fans so I have decided to knit this blanket and raffle it for charity once its finished.

My chosen charity is going to be Families And Babies. They are an infant feeding support charity here in Lancashire and they are the reason I got the support I needed to successfully breastfeed my two babies through their peer supporters group. This endeavour will be my way of saying thankyou from me, my boobies, and my babies

List of some of the yarns I used are in the photos. I did purchase some as I couldn’t achieve a good match from my stash. But alot of yarn was already in my yarn basket. It’s nearly all acrylic DK, some wool/acrylic blends in there. I’ve chosen acrylic for this because it’s a blanket designed to be used for snuggling, adventures and fort building and that comes with needing to be washable.

So the fundraiser is done and the blanket raised £403 for FAB Lancashire!! It’s going to it’s new home on Friday
