I used part of the Easter Friends pattern (bunny, flowers and carrot) to decorate this Easter jar topper.

2.5mm hook for the bunny and carrot, 3mm hook for the lid cover, and used cotton DK yarns of various brands.

8mm safety eyes. For this bunny I made eye indentations with a piece of yarn (same light pink I used for the bunny) and a long needle.

I did not use a pattern for the lid cover, and repurposed a fruit preserve jar for this project (back in the UK I liked using Nutella jars as they were glass jars with plastic lids, but here in Texas all Nutella jars are entirely made of plastic, so I use fruit preserve jars instead). The lid cover was glued to the jar lid with hot glue. The little flowers that decorate the lid cover were also hot glued (the flower on the bunny’s head was sewn).
