I started a new doily, adding to my increasingly growing pile of them.
They’re my go to projects lately for 3 reasons :
1. it’s easy to carry around. One ball and a tiny doily that fits in most bags. Therefore it’s not bulky when you take it out to work with outside your home.
2.You usually work from a ball.So you get the extra level of satisfaction from spinning the hank into a ball.(at least this is how I find them in Syria )
3.They are usually in one color, so you just jump into the action without worrying about the color combinations.
4.Since they are smaller projects, they are done quickly and you enjoy your labor faster.
5.They don’t use too much yarn.So they’re the perfect use for lying around stash.
I think I have said enough about the virtues of doilies lol, and I would like to pile a whole bunch of praise to the artist who created this pattern :elegant, classy and so cute. Thank you for sharing this adventure with us.
