Graduation Blanket for the Girl Student.

49 motifs hooked together in a Rhombus diamonds layout. It has 7 motifs at the widest point. Finished size 260 x 163.

I stopped each motif at round 24 of the pattern.

It is such a beautiful design, I loved working on this blanket. The designer has a masterclass in this technique for those interested in brioche crochet.

Forests are connected by a mycelium, a network of subterranean fungal threads which helps organisms absorb nutrients from their environment. Fungi networks are the internet of the forests! Mycelium can have literally trillions of end branches. Trees communicate using the mycelium as pathways and actually use it to feed one another by swapping nutrients along the underground network.
