CO 40 sts using US 8 needles. Making a full size bib starting with buttercup (to use it up) and purple to finish it. It’s 8.75” wide x 9” long (38 garter stitch ridges) in garter stitch before the straps and neck decreases. Weighs 53 grams.

Neck Decreases:
First Strap- Left Side:
Row 1- k12 and put on stitch holder; bind off 16 sts; k12
Row 2- knit one row
Row 3- k2tog, k to end of row
Row 4- knit one row
Row 5- k2tog, k to end of row
Rest of Rows- knit all rows until there are 20 ridges from the beginning of neck edge ending with WS row.

2nd Strap- Right Side:
Row 2- Repeat for right side strap starting at inside edge and WS Row 2- knit.
Row 3- k to last two sts; k2tog
Row 4- knit one row
Row 5- k to last two sts; k2tog
Rest of Rows- knit all rows until there are 20 ridges from the beginning of neck edge ending with WS row.
