Both pairs of socks fit the guys perfectly. They both love them.

I used addi circulars for these socks, and they are sized differently than others. I actually used 2.50mm (US 1.5) for the main part of the sock and then 3.0mm (US 2.5) for the leg. I probably used a 2.0mm (US 0) for the toes for a dense fabric, so that the toes will wear longer.

9/29/19- Tommy’s Socks in Cadet Colors
Finished knitting. Next to weave in the ends.

1st sock was finished this morning. 2nd sock’s gusset was started last night. It and the heel were completed today. I’m now working on the leg.

CO 24 (12 on each side) and increased to 64 sts (32 on each side) in the normal fashion. 6 5/16” to start of gusset. Gusset and heel are 4.4” long.
Instep pattern: k2,p2.
Reinforced toes and heels with Jawoll in charcoal. Used 1.65 spools of charcoal.

Reinforced toes and heels with Jawoll in light brown. I used 1.68 spools of Jawoll.

Making 1AAT, but in phases. Did one toe; then the other toe. Doing one foot and then the other foot. Etc.

CO 12; inc toe to 34 sts each side (68 total). 6 1/8” to start of gusset. Gusset and heel are 4.4” long.

I have 4 skeins of this yarn in the same dye lot, and none of them seem to match the other. It’s impossible for me to find a repeated color stripe pattern. I looked at the Cascade color’s projects and don’t see any matching socks either. So, “it is what it is”. I love the colors even if the stripes don’t match.
