Notes

7/6/19
I used the Pembroke Scarf stretchy BO with US 10.5 needles. I’m very happy with it. I also like how this shawl turned out. Lovely! Dimensions: 16x70”

7/4/19
All three of these patterns make a basic asymmetrical shawl. Only the edges are different. So I made up samples of each of the edge patterns for each shawl pattern. I like the edges on Silverleaf the best, so I’ll use them. I need to use US 11 needles to accommodate the Homespun and Lamb’s Pride yarns. I’ll have to use double strands of the Heartland yarns. Cha Cha will be single strand.

7/1/19 Design Phase:
I need to look at each one of these patterns to decide how I’m going to make this shawl. I might wind up using Silverleaf as the basic pattern for a striped shawl, if I think it’s the best designed. Lion Brand Pinnacles would be stunning as the leaf panel. This weekend, I’ll take a look at it.

Plan is to make a striped shawl out of these yarns to use them up. I used double strands of some of these yarns on US 11 needles for the scarves that I made.
