Pattern is clear and well written. The photo tutorial on how to make the larksfoot stitch is quite helpful. I rated this pattern medium difficulty because pulling up the first loop of the ldc and ltc so as not to pull in the sides of the square takes a little practice.

I reduced the number of stitches in the last 2 rounds, placing only 3 sc in each corner for those.

Great simple design that can look very different depending on color placement.
