Notes

9/22: After a few long breaks, I finally finished it! I do love it. I used two skeins of this handspun I received from Modoc in the Dr Seuss swap and I’m so glad I made something for myself with it. It came out a little shorter than I thought it would when I ran out of yarn, but I did make it about 12 stitches wider than the pattern called for. It will be a great scarf this fall and awesome for keeping me warm at work!!

6/09: It’s definitely getting bigger! I was doing the 16 row pattern once a day for about a week then I had to take a break for my wrists’ sake and to work on other things. This is the first long-term project I’ve taken on in awhile, but I’m pretty determined to finish it and I’m really excited to see the result. I don’t know how many times I’ve done the 16 row pattern repeat at this point. On the second repeat, I set it down for a day and forgot where I was. I messed up, but didn’t want to rip it. It’s really only noticeable if you examine it really closely. I still love it, though. It’ll be an interesting memory I guess. I definitely have the pattern down well enough now to recognize where I am.
(And I write a note for myself on the pattern :) )

5/14: I really love the way this yarn is knitting up. This is my first lacey shawl pattern, and I’m excited to see how it turns out.
