Lovely colourway; olive green / golden yellow. It’s darker than in the photos. Camera makes it look quite yellow…the second picture shows the colour the best. The yarn knits up very, very nicely. I’ll have to see how it wears! Doesn’t look like this yarn is available anymore though.

I used Scholler&Stahl reinforcement yarn (beige) from Mad About Ewe Fine Yarns in toes and heels as this yarn has no nylon. Finished off with some 1x1 rib and a little elastic thread woven through the top to keep them up.

Pattern modifications:

• 16-st lace pattern (“feather lace”); requires 33 sts on front of sock and 31 on back to center pattern.
• ssk and k2tog on either side of the heel diagonal, which gives a discreet little ladder.

These got holes in the heel (above the reinforcement yarn) pretty quickly.
