With SMC Yarn, CO 42 sts with Size 4 needle.
Work 1X1 Rib for 10 rows.
Change to Size 6 needle and Alpace Yarn:
Knit around with the Alpaca Yarn once.
Work K4, P2 around once.
Work the Lace pattern:
R1: K2, K2tog, YO, P2 around
R2: K4, P2, around
R3: K1, K2tog, YO, K1, P2 around
R4: K4, P2 around
R5: K2tog, YO, K2, P2., around
R6 K4, P2 around
Each 6 rows = 3/4”
Worked Lace Pattern 3 times: 18 rows. + the Knit row + K4, P2 row = 20 Rows before beginning thumb shaping.
Change to size 4 needle and work 5 rows k1,p1 ribbing
