Using all leftovers and some new skeins to make a knitting project bag. I just make it up as I go along. The plan is to put it in the washing machine. How scary is that. It is mindless knitting. Good company for when I watch TV. Round and round…

Started by making a rectangle with 50 st. in garter stitch and knitted about 18 cm. Started knitting in the round by picking up all the stitches (2 long sides and 2 short sides) on a long circular needle.

Bag went in and out of washing machine. Came out beautifully felted and much smaller of course. Don’t know if I am going to give it some handles or if I let it be the basket like it is now.

May 2011: left the bag as it is. No handles. It became my leftover basket.
