i decided to knit this flat, then attach some buttons to make it more flexible.

I cast on 92 stitches, put a 2-stitch garter edge on each side, with 8 repeats of the lace stitch. Midway through, I decided to keep it even on the edges, so I increased at the beginning of the increase row (after the 2-stitch garter edge, and decreased 1 stitchat the end (before the 2-stitch garter edge).

I can’t wait to get the buttons on to wear this!

8/16/10 - Button holes added by slip-stitching 1 stitch in, and then chaining 3 then reattaching with slip stitches. Sewed on the buttons and I’m done!
