Started with Cable ribbing, and it seemed odd, so I checked with Ravelry - no errata, but on Ydun’s project page she highlights the problem with the cable ribbing on rounds 5 and 9. (editted to add - this was apparently only a problem with the e-book v. 1.0 - the printed copy and later e-book versions are correct).
For the left leg chart, before you start Round 27 -- you’ll need to remove your round marker, knit the stitch, and replace the marker. This isn’t in any of the versions of the book that I have.
8/4 - I did the dutch heel, which looks cool, but I couldn’t get the final rows to work out, so I fudged.
I’m confused currently as to how the stitches from the heel get incorporated back into the sock and the instep heel pattern works along side the gusset stitches.
8/7 - Decided to rip back to ribbing, knit the leg chart again - no problem, but I still have issues with dutch heel - in conversation with Heather about that, as well as how the side cable stitches on the heel are to be incorporated back into the sock at the gusset.
8/19 - I’ve been in touch with Heather, the designer, and we’ve figured out the problems with the medium and extra-large sizes in the gusset/instep directions. Stay tuned for updates!
8//20 - with revised chart for instep and new directions, I’ve finished the gusset, and knit the foot. Awaiting the final directions for the toe.
9/4 - got directions for toe, completed first sock, now almost done with the 2nd sock and tech edits sent to Heather. Hopefully there will be fully operational pattern soon!
9/9 -socks are done, edits to Heather so errata should be showing up soon. I love these socks, especially the sies. Will be blog when errata appear!
