I tried on the sample at Vogue Knitting Live, and now that I live in Fresno, this is the kind of sweater to be knitting.

6/17 - swatching on size 6 needles, waiting to see how it blocks outl

8/6 - This has been a slow-go project. While I will love the finished project, the yarn is not that fun to knit imo.

I found that blocking the sleeves and body while on the needles helps to figure out length, which can be hard to judge otherwise.

The sleeves are now done to the armholes, the body finally done to the same place, and tonight will be joining everything together for the yoke and sleeve caps done seamlessly.

8/8 I mixed up the sleeves when I joined the body with the sleeves; at first I thought I could live with it. But I can’t, so I ripped back and put them in correctly. Onward.

9/19 - knitting complete, front edges sewn together, and collar knit. Will stitch together underarms and weave ends tonight!
