Notes

The biggest part of the project seems to be in the winding into balls. Don’t attempt unless you own all three of these

  • swift
  • ball winder
  • kitchen scale with grams.

The smallest ball should weigh between 5-6 10 grams -- about 30 55-60 turns of your swift.

Update: I think the amounts in the smallest balls are too small - I only got bout 8 rows completed (when I needed 12) before the smallest ball was depleted - I would wind off about 10 grams instead. And it appears that I will have more than enough yarn left before I finish with the first color.

Knitting and blocking done - a little weaving in of ends, and then it’ll be ready for gifting!
