I’m using a variety of donated yarns, including wool, angora rabbit hair and kid mohair, for a sweater. Crossing my fingers that I can combine the fibers in a way that works for the sweater’s appearance and durability.

4/9/11- Using the angora and mohair in alternate rows is pretty tedious. I’m 5 inches into the yoke, probably can hang on for a couple of more in the alternating rows. Just want to kick into high gear with the wool and get this done!

4/19/11 - Finally got the body done, it’s been a slog-a-long. Hopefully the sleeves will go quickley

4/28/11 - Halfway through 2nd sleeve. So ready for this sweater to be done!

4/29/11 - Knitting is done, blocking happening. Weaving of ends to finish soon.
