Doing a pair of socks for a father and son headed for Afghanistan next year.

1/5/11 - Argh - I just realized that the 1st leg is two inches too short. Will have to see if I can figure out how to graft the extra into it…

1/20/11 Sock surgery attempt was aborted. Re-knit the heel and 2nd foot, and now ready for a wash!

1/23/11 Ends woven in, washed and dried. Ready for packaging and mailing!
