I started this in the ’70s and finished it in the ’80s. I get tired of projects and put them away for a while, then get them out and it’s so nice that they’re already half finished! I couldn’t resist this afghan - it’s my favorite colors, pink and green. It was easy and went fast. I love it and am so glad I finished it. My husband and I visited Old Sturbridge Village a couple of years ago…I had this pattern book and found the spots where the afghans were photographed and took similar shots. I showed the pattern book to the tour guide - he was unfamiliar with the book - not a surprise since it dates to the ’70s. This book has so many beautiful afghans. I used the yarn and hook specified in the pattern.
