Notes

1/23: I had to knit three swatches to get to the right gauge. Size 10 needles were too small, 11 too big, and 10.5 perfect. If it makes any difference, the 10s were Addi Turbos, the 11s ChiaGoo, and the 10.5s Lantern Moons. I swatched and cast on Saturday (the 21st), frogged and started over thrice, but it was worth it. All the stitches are even, the yarn overs perfectly aligned and sized, and decreases and increases flawless.

I had a little difficulty with the M1-R, but a little Googling pointed out that I was knitting the long strand, resulting in a yarnover, instead of the short strand. It’s not Monday, and I’m already at the body increase rows. I will definitely finish this sweater by Sunday, but I’m shooting for something sooner than that.

1/24: It’s almost midnight, but I finished the last sleeve and the neck today, and I wove in every single end. My sweater is done, done, donededy done! I made it in THREE DAYS! And it’s pretty much perfect! Wee!
