1/12/22: I was able to figure out the stitch that had given me problems and am happily working this project.

This project is a challenge as the pattern and accompanying videos are in Russian. I’ve been able to follow along, for the most part, but I’ve run into an issue on the 5th round. The video that explains the method of working the first stitch is less than optimal, with the presenter moving her hands out of the frame at the time she picks up stitches. It’s very hard to discern which stitches she picks up. I have not been able to get the desired result. Frustrating but I will continue to try until I get it right. Or contact the pattern author.
