New Pattern on the way…

I couldn’t decide if I wanted longer or shorter sleeves:
The short sleeve cuff continues perfectly the larger white stripe on the body and playful finishes off the ribbon stitch.
On the other hand the longer 3/4 sleeve enhances all the finer stripes of the body by playing along without copying the exact sequence… and it makes for a more elegant version!

So in this sample I used both of them, just to show you how they change up the same garment - in the pattern you can choose between playful-short or elegant-3/4 sleeve!

Since I really loved the play between textured stitch and short-row striping I am working on a new coloured version.. you’ll see soon!

This yarn has 30% Linen in it and boy is it wonderful… it makes for a great fabric, giving the soft wool more substance and halt and drape.
I really like the natural colours and thankfully I have enough left to make a nice simple top just perfect for summer (if I find the time, that is).
