finished second piece, started sewing up the first gloves. i used a basic cast off for the fingers of the first piece, but decided i didn’t like it and used jeny’s surprisingly stretchy cast off for the bind off edge and all of the second piece

the first piece took ages but i finished the second piece in like a day, which is good because her birthday is soon and that pace would not have completed them in time

finished sewing the first glove!
it’s a little tight but mom’s hands are skinnier than mine. i think i would add an extra short row for each finger to make them and the palm wider next time tho.

finished knitting both pieces for the second glove! I started bringing my knitting to school to speed up, but I forgot my sewing needle so I’m stuck for now.

For some reason my gauge on the last piece was way bigger? I know the stitch count is right because I was counting basically every other row, it’s just really loose now. Maybe it’s a good thing tho, because that glove won’t be as tight :)

I have probably a quarter of the ball left, about .4 oz, but i didn’t weigh it
