November 7th: started the bead thing this week-end. It’s not as bad as I feared. This is gonna go fast. I think I thread them not as the pattern suggests, but it’s working. They don’t show very well until stitches from the next row pick up the yarn covering the bead.

October 30th: row 27. Two more before I begin the beads. I have to double check. I bought the beads too early and I think they are just too small. Though it is possible to thread them, it is slow, with too much friction.

October 25th: row 22, this is just one third of the work and I have a bit left from the first skein, so I know I won’t use more than three.

I recently tried the bead technique. Bought a 0.75mm hook, and managed to pick up the yarn through the bead with it. Still I’m not familiar with it and I think I’ll only use beads along the edging, or the last few rows.
