I don’t usually do sock MKALs any more - I wait for them to be fully released and then do the whole project, simply because socks go so fast and I hate the wait time between clues. But I found myself without socks on the needles and I don’t want to over commit to more projects at this point in the year with Dec KALs fast approaching.

Cast on clue one and finished both cuffs as per pattern. I did opt to do fraternal socks, so I’ll have to remember which one is which - outside of cake sock is the switched one with the left cables.

Now I wait for clue 2.

Clue 2 (legs) complete for both socks. Very repetitive. It went fast because I used them as my 10 minutes between meetings break and just steady worked on them a couple of rows at a time every chance I could get.

7 total leg chart repeats for each sock, 4 beads per repeat so 54 beads total so far.

Clue 3 complete for both socks - heel flap, heel turn, gusset and gusset decreases complete.

Off the needles. Feet and toes flew by in one sitting for both socks.
