Did some stash diving to find my color palette for this one. The kits are lovely, but I have plenty of fingering weight yarn in the stash already.

01-01-2021

Clue 1 released at 11pm New Year’s Eve, so starting had to wait until New Year’s Day. Clue 1 is complete, chose to go with option C, “the hardest” one.

01-10-2021

Clue 2 was released on the 6th, I couldn’t get to it until this weekend, but clue 2 is complete! Also continuing with option C, “the hardest” choice of the 3 pattern options.

Finally got clue 3 started. Through the full first repeat and 2 rows left of the the second set (partial repeat). This clue has us tie in CC1 (light gray) and I’m liking what I see so far!

Clue 4 complete - continuing with pattern C throughout.

There was a minor error on two rows of the pattern, it has been corrected by the designer.

Clue 5 complete and about 1/4 of the way through clue 6. I fell behind working on a few other projects, and with an unexpected side trip that I needed to take, but this one is now primary focus so I hope to be caught up before clue 7 drops next week.

Life intervened with this one - namely goat kidding season. Lack of sleep and general chaos with kidding had me knitting at random times, and not coherent enough to take notes. I was unable to keep up with clues as they were released, but I would get big chunks done when I could focus and would catch up to the current clue then promptly fall behind a week or more.

But she’s done as of March 26, 2021 blocked on the 28th and glamour shots on the 30th. The wind was a bit of a challenge, and the outtakes were hilarious.

Overall this is a giant shawl that is light enough to wear anytime in any weather and shaped to fit any mood. Love it.

Used Pattern C throughout. And as a gift that keeps giving, you could knit this several dozen times before you’ve used up all the possible pattern combinations.
