Clue 1 released today. Using leftover yarn - both with issues.

The purple is short of called for yardage by 12yds, so I’ll be playing yarn chicken with that one.

The gray was handspun and bought when I was new to yarn, knitting and ravelry. I have no clue how much I have left or what the weight of the yarn is. I have plenty, and it seems to be working as a DK, but I also used it as a fingering in a previous project, so who knows.

Clue 2 complete!

Clue 3 complete with a crappy nighttime photo. But the knitting was a perfect way to come down after a long and hectic day.

Clue 4 complete! The mystery continues, but I love the mosaic knitting.

Clue 10. Had to change it up and use my gray yarn for the last 4 rows and the bind off - the pattern calls for the purple. But I didn’t have enough to get it done.

If the last 2 clues won’t work for the design I’ll just have to start over with different yarn. It was such a small, fast knit, it’s no big deal.

Picked a cute little ladybug button for the single button closure, but that’s subject to change based on my mood the day I need to sew it on.

Clue 11 - the whole clue was sewing on the button, and I’m not sure I’m ready to do that given the change up. So I held off on today’s activity and will wait for the final clue tomorrow to decide what I’m doing.

Clue 12 was doing the fringe, and I needed time to think it through given the lack of purple yarn I had available. Finally decided to do a shortened fringe, modified by tying each strand on separately in order to get them to stay. Now she’s finished!
