After weeks of agonizing over what to use for this shawl, and wanting to stick to my commitment to use stash yarn, I came up with these. I only have a handful of yards for the contrast colors, so this will be mostly blue with a hint of purple and gray.

Cast on 85, plan is to knit each color until I run out. Decided to make the color changes at the end of a slip stitch row, so I may have a few yards left here or there, but will be knitting as much of the yardage as possible.
Cast on with CC1, knit row 1 and then 41 rows of the body before running out.

Skip CC13 (Ebony) it is too stark against the rest of the colors with CC11 and CC12 missing. In addition, CC14 is missing too and the shift from 10 to 15 is actually rather perfect.
CC15 - less than one row
There wasn’t enough to cover the first row so I backed it out, used the tail of CC10 to do about 2/3 of the row, joined CC15 and made it through slightly more than half of the next row. Joined CC16 to finish out that row.
CC16 - 2 rows
CC17 - 4 rows
CC18 - 6 rows
CC19 - 8 rows
CC20 - 10 rows
