Finished section 5! Twenty Six short row triangles. That sounds fast and easy, but it took 3 knitting sessions to get it done. Onward to section 6!

Off the needles! This one was a beast to get through, but I did it. almost 4 hours for the i-cord bind off alone. Need to get her blocked once I free up some floor space next week.

After weeks of snow and rain I was able to get outside for photos. Donned my farm boots and ran outside. As I’m snapping pictures it dawned on me that the colors I picked for this shawl are exactly the same colors as my farm boots (minus the mud).

I guess this is an example of how art can imitate life. The match wasn’t intended, and the shawl isn’t exactly practical for farm chores, but the coincidence was too obvious not to call out!
