Have a ridiculously long plane ride in 4 days so I am in “cast on all the things” mode. Need to have a few plane sized projects on the needles.

Cast on for the fancy rib option using Chinese Waitress cast on. 240 stitches. Took forever!

Finished the fancy rib section and the mock cable section. Did the optional 2 extra repeats of mock cable (5 repeats total). Used 6/0 beads placed as called for in the pattern.

Started the slip stitch section, did 2 repeats so far.

Off the needles. Before I even left home! Ooops!

Fast and easy knit, I love the mock cables and the sections. Did 6 repeats of the central section and then the 5 repeats of the upper edge as defined in the pattern.

Cast off with the Icelandic bind off. It’s loose around the neck - but without blocking I can’t see how it will sit yet and how it will show off the beadwork. Blocking will have to wait until I get back home so see ya in a couple of weeks!
