Cast on because I only has about 30 minutes to sit and knit and I didn’t have a small project on the needles.

Working the cuff in 2x2 fully twisted rib, Ktbl and Ptbl just for some different cuffs.

Cuff and 2 leg repeats complete for sock one.

July 17, 2026

Finished sock one and cast on / finished the cuff of sock two.

Did an extended leg (extra 20 rounds). Experimenting a bit. Used my Karbonz for sock 1 and did a twisted rib cuff. Used my Hiya Hiya sharps for sock 2, did a normal 2x2 rib cuff. I want to see if the needle is making a difference at all, and if the cuff change makes a difference in how well it stays up on my leg.

For the record, I’ve done plenty of socks with both types of needles, and they all fit fine, I have no worries that I’ll end up with one sock that fits and another that doesn’t.

Sock two is progressing, not fast as this is a “filler” project for those times that I can’t or don’t want to pull out a bigger project. halfway through the leg already.
