I should have knit larger arms or sized up my needles. Hopefully will block bigger.

Knit in the round to avoid seaming.

Added afterthought armpit gusset. Added one st per row from 4 up to 8 sts from each side. Grafted. That worked well and reduces some of the tightness.
Realized when putting dp needles away I goofed and knit the sleeves with US10 for some extra snugness. Hopefully will block out.

Love this sweater but it just doesn’t come across the front of the body well when worn. I’m going to try adding the shawl collar and button bands I’ve seen others do.

Picked up 3/4 sts around with US 9. Increased with Kfandb every st on back of neck. First wrap and turn at about armpit level. Then again back and forth moving in 4 sts each time for a total of 4 w&T’s each side. Knit 7 rows across. Then buttonhole row - 5 botton holes with a single yo, k2tog. Then seven rows more before binding off.

9 g yarn left. Who’s the yarn chicken? Not me!

This sweater saw quite a few indoor soccer games and an very large number of hours waiting for a kid to get out of a meeting. First in the car and then in a coffeeshop when the weather got too cold. This sweater probably now smells like peppermint tea.
