The best way to do the 3rd section: use a marker to figure out if you’re on an even side row or odd side and memorize the repeat.
This is the 4th time I’m Knitting this shawl and I had problems with the 1st section which is just garter. I’m disappointed with the mini’s. The silk blend yarn is splitty, it doesn’t knit up well. In section 1, I dropped stitches and I didn’t know how to pick them up bc there wasn’t a stockingnette side so I had to turn to YouTube. I continued to drop stitches which makes it look messy.
