I’m so in love with Illumikniti Designs patterns. I am on a mission to collect them all.
I got this in her big 2000 fan sale on a whim. I whipped it up in less than a day ( I started it at night and then had to go to sleep, curses, then picked it up the next day).

Since I despise homespun I went with both sides being the ‘baby side’. I also changed up the cord by doing a magic ring instead of how it was written, only because I couldn’t get my hook and yarn to agree to follow the directions.
I also added some polyfil to give it some dimension and make it squishy and soft, and I mean a small amount of stuffing, like the size of my palm.

So perfect for a doula or midwife or anyone wanting to carry their own placenta around for funsies and it’s way less bloody this way.
