This scarf is knit with one single ball of yarn.
I believe there are different types of intelligence. Some people are academically smart, others are emotionally in tune with people and their surroundings, there are those who have artistic or musical abilities, and yet others are able to see how things work.
I unfortunately do not excel in any of those areas, but I think I do okay most of the time. This sample Morocco Scarf that I knit for Ilga Leja is an example of where despite knowing how things work, I am still dumbfounded by the results. I know how yarn is dyed in different colours, I know that a narrow scarf, multi-directional, will have be amazing when knit with yarn of this type. Despite all this, every time I look at the finished scarf I hear myself say, “This scarf can’t possibly have been knit with one single ball of yarn”.
You can find out more about the Morocco Scarf on Ilga Leja’s blog, or read on for her description…
A fun project, worked with a single ball of Kauni Effektgarn. The gradual colour changes keep the work interesting.
