Followed the pattern to a tee. Made the teen size, not the child size, and it still seems too small in length and width. The size of this finished beanie is smaller than it’s supposed to be according to the pattern instructions.

This has been gifted to Gracie’s younger sister, Alyssa, as it did not fit Gracie. I will need to make a larger size than the teen for Gracie, despite her only being 6 years old.

Made a second beanie for Gracie, using the same yarn and pattern.

I did 60 plus 1 chains to start. With just chains, this measured 36cm. I did 14 blo for brim end and 4 blo for pom pom end. 33cm in length after completion of 3rd row.

RECTANGLE: Short end measured 28cm or 11 inches before seaming. Long end measured 42cm or 16 inches before seaming.

Started with a fresh 200g ball; have 85g left, so the second beanie used 115g in total, which also includes the pom pom.
