Åsa gifted me the pattern, because our retreat with HandHerzSeele had to be cancelled because of corona.

My gauge is 22,2 x 32,5
Gauge of pattern is 20 x 28
Chest measurement of my nice (3y) is 48,5
So I need to follow size 5 to get a size 3

I wasn’t patient enough to wait for advice in choosing the right size. So I started to follow the 7 y to get a size 3. Because there is a difference between the measurements in the grid and the stitch count after the separation of the sleeves I made the wrong decision. I knitted to the separation of the sleeves and had to rip it all out and start over.

The back length of my niece is 38 cm. So even for that I could use the numbers of size 5.

I find the pattern well written, it’s not difficult to follow the instructions for the zigging and zagging and I like the result.
The sweater turned out really nice. Now I hope for modelled pictures.

I learned a lot for my next attempt in knitting an adult sweater for me.

I used exactly three balls of the dark blue. I attached some light blue at the bottom of the pocket to make it deep enough.
